In depth

Verdict

Barton Rose beat stable companion Realt Mo Croi by eight lengths on heavy going at Lingfield last month. But the runner-up is now 11lb better off and could turn the tables today. ROUQUINE SAUVAGE was the odds-on favourite in that race but found little when push came to shove and finished last. Anthony Honeyball's mare is a lot better than that and it would be no surprise to see her reverse the form with the first two and return to winning ways on this slightly better ground. Dry Your Eyes may be the pick of the remainder as Rosie Probert is out of sorts and Pixie Cut took a backward step at Ayr.
