Verdict
Folk Tune was beaten at odds-on in a four-runner race at Cartmel last month. He could easily bounce back here but is an awkward ride and it remains to be seen if a 10lb claimer can get the best out of him. Khorun and The Fox's Decree are probably better over fences but have the ability to figure in this lowly grade over timber, while Ladies Best won at Exeter in May but has shown very little since. DEAR MAURICE was a decent miler on the Flat in his younger days and drops to this level for the first time in a short career over hurdles. Providing they don't go off too quickly, he could be a bit of value in this as he'd still have more pace than most.
