Verdict
This is a real headscratcher as none of the runners to have raced has shown any real level of form. With this in mind, watch the betting but, if nothing stands out in the market, maybe High Rank is the one to side with over Emencee and Vicentio. The selection showed promise in three bumper runs in Ireland and, now with John Mackie, makes his hurdling debut. It would be no surprise to see him go well in a modest event. Alan Bailey's Emencee showed some promise in bumpers before finishing a well-beaten 11th of 19 at Aintree on his hurdling debut. That was a better event than this and he ought to go well here. Vincentio has shown some promise in five runs and Mick Fitzgerald is an interesting booking. Ginger McCain's Another Club Royal is by Overbury out of mare that stayed three miles, and even won a race here. Although he is likely to need further, this race is not going to take a great deal of winning so you can't entirely rule him out, although we prefer High Rank. With Pucks Way showing very little in his sole start to date, the road brings us back to High Rank, but keep a close eye on the betting.
