Verdict

This is an even weaker contest than the seller which precedes it but the bottom three have still managed to find themselves racing from out of the handicap. Spanish Optimist and Finch Flyer are the only two to have shown anything over fences so far but the former has hardly distinguished himself and the latter has had 20 tries to get off the mark. ALF THE AUDACIOUS is a purely speculative selection given he has a jumping pedigree and hasn't been off the track as long as Godwit but the market should be the best guide.
