Verdict

Harriet Tucker temporarily lost her reins on WITCH FOR ROME in the closing stages here three weeks ago so her mount did well to get within seven lengths of surprise winner Cry Wolf. On more favourable terms, he may well turn the tables. Wye Aye won off a higher mark over fences in the spring while Espinator gets on well with Kevin Brogan and wasn’t winning out of turn at Newton Abbot in July.
