Verdict
An Scairp and Desert Retreat both arrive with a win to their name on latest outings in the pointing arena and are of interest but a chance is taken with MOTUEKA on a first start for Olly Murphy. Yard inmates rarely lack for fitness and connections immediately apply tongue tie and cheekpieces. He showed some ability for Philip Hobbs and it might just be the time to catch him in what is a modest affair. His best effort over hurdles to date came on good ground and is preferred to Equus Flight. The latter has delivered three successive runner-up efforts but has yet to really convince and was easily beaten the last twice. He may well prove good enough is such a low-key contest but is worth taking on at the likely prices.
