Verdict
Forever My Friend is starting to come down the weights again but has been well beaten in his last two starts. Papradon was pulled up at Southwell last time but that was a better contest than this. Qoubilai bounced back to form at Market Rasen and should reverse that form with Tregaro but O'Callaghan Strand couldn't cope with the weight rise at Huntingdon and it's impossible to have much faith in Milgen Bay, who has passed up easier opportunities in recent weeks. RIVER PURPLE's run behind O'Callaghan Strand and Tregaro at Market Rasen last month was too bad to be true. He'd been in good form around here previously and is worth another chance with Unknown Legend 3lb higher than when second at Sedgefield.
