It’s a worry that Son Of Suzie hasn’t raced since a close third at Cartmel last July. Winged Crusader has the more recent form having only been beaten a short-head at Ludlow after winning over a shorter trip at Bangor. ARMEDANDDANGEROUS may be in the veteran stage now and is 20lb higher than when scoring over course and distance last season but he wasn’t beaten far off this mark in the Lincolnshire National at Market Rasen on Boxing Day and a repeat of that effort may well suffice. Sonoftheking and Cailleach Annie may be best of the rest as Whiskey Chaser and Loughalder have something to prove at present.
