Verdict

THE BIG JETAWAY has always had a decent reputation and while visits to the track have been sparing, a run around here last month will have put him spot on for this engagement. Our Scholar was the winner on that occasion and though unproven on the prevailing going, he holds strong claims of delivering on the hat-trick bid. Liverpool Knight ran in some strong handicaps on the Flat last year but disappointed at Fakenham on New Year’s Day. Shengai Enki makes a first start for Richard Newland having finished third in a Kelso bumper for previous connections so a market check seems wise.
