Verdict

Beauboreen ended last season in good form when landing a double at Bangor but he returns off a 5lb higher mark. NEWTOWN LAD (NAP) is preferred as he ran well at Ayr on his chasing debut and return from a lay-off and Lucinda Russell’s charge gets the nod with a conditional’s allowance in his favour today. Special Wells will also be sharper for last month’s comeback outing over these fences and Achimota drops back down a grade on his return having slipped down the weights last season.
