    Verdict

Gustave Mahler has been making hay in novice company but this is a much tougher task and he was beaten by Just Milly on better terms at Doncaster last season. Beau Du Brizais should be all the better for last month’s run at Worcester but COOL SKY (NAP) must take all the beating. Ian Williams’ stayer won a Class 2 handicap over this sort of trip on the Flat at Goodwood last month and would be a stand-out bet if transferring that form back to hurdles. Rossetti might struggle over this longer trip and Werenearlyoutofit is probably best watched returning from a lengthy absence.
