Verdict
Once again, a race that lacks any real strength and it can go to Dhaudeloup. Gabor can chase him home followed by Donatus. A one-time 131-rated hurdler, the selection ran a blinder following an absence to finish second at Hexham on his second chasing appearance. Given time to recover from that, if he turns up in the same form today, he looks to hold a very strong chance. Donatus's overall hurdling form brings him firmly into the place equation on his chasing debut, Carn Rivers should improve for the switch to chasing, while Gabor ran respectably on his chasing debut behind Liberty Seeker at Market Rasen 19 days ago. He too holds a very good place chance and will probably give the selection the most to do.
