In depth

Verdict

Hattons Hill has won his last five but has gone up 27lb since his run began and all of his victories have come at Hexham. CHARLIE WINGNUT (NAP) caught the eye on his fencing bow at Wetherby on Boxing Day and shrugged off an absence to win easily at Kelso last month. A 10lb rise is thoroughly justified on that effort and he’ll be hard to beat again granted normal improvement. Buble has been placed between the flags and over hurdles so should make a chaser while Scenic Star won over a shorter trip here on his UK debut, though has a penalty to shoulder.
