    Verdict

HOPE’S WISHES has actually won a few races over hurdles, which is more than you can say about her rivals, and her latest victory came on soft going. Richard Johnson rides and Barry Brennan’s mare can give the weight away to Tigeralley, who is unlikely to enjoy this big drop in distance. Astra Via may do better now going handicapping and Lace Bonnet has hinted at some ability but it’s more difficult to make a case for the others.
