Verdict

Big River can give an early boost to Cheltenham form as he was third behind National Hunt Chase second Ms Parfois at Warwick before beating Ultima Chase runner-up Shantou Flyer at Kelso. He’s only gone up 3lb and conditions won’t be a problem so he shouldn’t be far away. ANOTHER VENTURE (NAP) wasn’t disgraced in a Listed handicap at Ascot after back-to-back wins at Chepstow and Hereford. Staying is his game and he gets 9lb from the top weight plus Mikey Hamill’s claim. Solighoster got back to winning ways in a match last time but would need more to land this but Looksnowtlikebrian will go on the ground as is in good form. Behind Time has shown some improvement lately and makes more appeal than Big Meadow.
