Verdict
Square Mile can land the penultimate race on the card with Natoumba and Kahrayn nominated as the most obvious dangers. Jonjo O'Neill's charge was weak in the market when tried under similar conditions at Stratford last season but connections have earmarked him as a summer horse and his presence looks to have scared off much of the meaningful opposition at the five-day stage. Natoumba will ensure that Richard Johnson earns his riding fee tonight. He requires a fair amount of encouragement from the stick but does stay three miles. Kahrayn ran a fair second to Openditch last November at Lingfield. He ran solidly to place at Huntingdon earlier in the month and should win races this summer. Tisfreetdream is yet to get his head infront but that hasn't stopped the assessor from clobbering him for every placing that he has achieved. Barren Lands won an above average seller last Sunday but this engagement is much more testing. Lysander seeks a confidence booster after unseating rider at Ayr over fences. Aston is tried in blinkers rather than his usual visor. Ricardo's Choice has form over trip and going and could be a lively outsider at the prices. Square Mile can give weight and a beating to his rivals.
