Verdict

HEROD THE GREAT got out battled by Dispour on his hurdling debut at Bangor but the pair were clear of the remainder and Alan King's gelding should go one better here. Instinctual has already finished second twice and wasn't beaten far on either occasion, but he was rated more than 20lb inferior to the selection on the Flat. French import Innoko is possibly the most interesting of the newcomers.
