Verdict
A competitive finale should lie between Imperial Royale, Speed Venture and Make My Hay with the vote given to Imperial Royale. The selection won well at Leicester last time when dropped back to this trip. That clearly suited and with ground conditions again to his liking today he looks the one to beat. Speed Venture won well last time at Bangor on much faster ground than today's. However, he does have form on a soft surface and it will be a surprise if he is not good enough to make the frame. Make My Hay fell last time out and if that does not affect his confidence then he would have to enter calculations. Lankawi may prove best of the remainder, but for the winner we will return to Imperial Royale.
