Verdict
BESTWECAN looks an interesting recruit off of the Flat for Tim Vaughan and he appears to have been found an opportunity to open his account over hurdles. A winner of a Lingfield maiden for Mark Johnston, he's clearly had a few issues throughout his career but if he retains a modicum of his Flat ability, he looks the one to be on. Battlecat has to concede the penalty that he gained for victory in a Newton Abbot maiden. He does have the edge of experience and could prove to be a tough opponent if he consents to settle early in his race. On The Feather acted on soft ground on the level and Jim Best's mare is interesting in receipt of a fillies allowance while Kellys Brow and My Oh Mount Brown have won point-to-points in Ireland though neither has shone since racing under Rules.
