In depth

Verdict

Flobury and Mozo are the only course winners on show but there has to be a concern both may need the outing as they undertake respective first runs of the season. The market should help identify their readiness for action. In the circumstances - and in what is a minefield of a race - it may be worth offering another chance to PENNYWELL. Not one of her yard's leading lights by any means, she remains low on mileage and ran her best race to date when a respectable third here in May. She was travelling well enough when coming to grief the last day but her young pilot is perfectly capable and his 7lb claim could prove vital. Trip and ground are fine. Mole Trap and Outrageous Romana are possible outsiders from the foot of the weights, although the latter is admittedly 4lb out of the weights.
