    Verdict

Jennie Candlish's Basford Lass has harshly gone up 12lb for her win on soft ground at Newton Abbot last time and may be best left out of calculations in a race taken to go to the Rebecca Curtis-trained COURT RED HANDED, who should come on for his reappearance run at Fontwell last month and looks worth siding with especially if the market speaks in his favour. Jonjo O'Neill's Englishtown ran much better when a good second at Bangor last month but he has not won for some time and of more interest may be Malcolm Jefferson's lightly raced The Magic Bishop, who makes his handicap debut off what looks a fair mark. Santera is capable but seems a shade high in the weights at present.
