Verdict

Getaway Glory and Making Headway have won between the flags but the latter was also entered in the 2.25 Carlisle yesterday and James Baie and Kilbeggan maiden winner Macanogue are both having a first run for new connections with the latter carrying a penalty. GO TO WAR won a bumper on his racecourse debut and was far from disgraced in a Grade 2 at Aintree in April. He is a half-brother to useful staying hurdler Flight Deck so should have a future in this sphere. Goodwin, also a bumper winner, is another to consider while Damarta was too keen on his reappearance at Newton Abbot and is capable of better.
