Verdict

It's probably wise to concentrate on those at the head of the weights in the first division of this novices' handicap. Favoured Nation is back over timber after failing to complete in two of his three runs over fences, though he did win here in July. Worcester winner Royal Peak failed to cope with the weight rise at Newton Abbot so we'll side with the improving THE WICKED KIPPER, who was doing his best work at the finish over 2m4f here 11 days ago and might be suited by the extra. Lucky To Be Alive has ability and likewise Perfect Timing, who is now tried in a visor having worn cheekpieces in the past.
