In depth
Verdict
Veroce was tailed off when Germany Calling made a winning start over fences here earlier in the month. Charlie Longsdon's six-year-old jumped well in the main and looks a useful recruit but he'll struggle to give weight to DELL' ARCA (NAP) if David Pipe's charge runs up to the form of his length-and-a-half second to Gold Cup hero Coneygree in a Grade 2 at Newbury in the autumn. Delgany Demon and Fighter Jet could both be interesting if taking to the larger obstacles but Don't Be Late and Muckle Roe may need to have their sights lowered.
