    Verdict

Samson lacks consistency but has the form to figure if in the mood. KNIGHT COMMANDER has been beaten twice since completing a double here in July but, reunited with Richard Johnson, looks the one to beat in this ahead of Maximus Maridius. Sam Drinkwater’s charge has finished second twice at Worcester lately but doesn’t look the heartiest of battlers and, like Focaccia and Mamoo, needs to take a step forward to get his head in front.
