Verdict
The success of Gatacre Street at Newcastle this month was something of a bolt from the blue but there looked to be no fluke about it and it appears that Sam England has found the key to the Lucarno gelding. He is also lightly raced and therefore there's every chance he can follow up that chasing debut success off this 7lb higher mark. It is tempting to go along with him but LICKPENNY LARRY has solidity and consistency on his side and ran well on his seasonal reappearance last month. The remainder have something to prove one way or the other but Scartare and Flight To Milan are nominated as next best.
