Verdict

Solway Dandy has been placed on numerous occasions over shorter trips and this extra distance may suit. Keen Eye should have come on for his recent return to action at Southwell where he finished a remote fourth. But THE KINGS ASSASSIN has the best recent form with a close-up second at Newton Abbot and Chris Gordon's charge must go close in this company with a similar effort. He's preferred to Worcester runner-up Lygon Legend with last month's Newton Abbot winner Cash For Steel looking best of the rest.
