DELFACE had dropped to his lowest ever mark when scooting up over the course and distance on New Year's Eve and with just 6lb extra looks the one to beat. The Crazed Moon completed a double with a 4l victory over the track and trip last month and looks an obvious threat with 7lb extra to carry while Boutan, four times a winner on the Flat, ran her best race over timber when runner-up at Warwick though wouldn't want more rain. Wazowski didn't handle testing ground in a better race at Carlisle but he'd been performing with credit on good going earlier and is gradually slipping to a winnable mark.
