Verdict
Danish Decorum was most impressive when winning over course and distance last time and is taken to follow up today, Nephite and Magic Sky are put forward as the main dangers. The selection had been in great form last year and returned to the racecourse last month in the same mood. He comfortably beat today's rival and subsequent winner Papua by five lengths and he still looks on a very handy mark. Nephite is also in good heart at present having gained victories at Towcester and Perth. The handicapper may now have his measure but he should still be involved in the finish. Magic Sky is the dark horse in the line up having performed well in France earlier in the year and now with the powerful Paul Nicholls yard. Any market move for this one should be heeded. Mart Pipe's Escompteur will not have to improve much to play a major part and looks the best of the others, but our idea of the winner is Danish Decorum.
