Verdict

Hypnotic Gaze should improve on a recent second over C&D while there will be plenty of support for Abnaki, successful at Newton Abbot before finishing fourth at Southwell. Despite completing a hat-trick at Market Rasen earlier this month, Speedy Directa is only climbing the weights slowly and can play a part again while Baraathen appreciated the step up in distance here last time, though is 12lb higher now. Torran Sound boasts recent winning form on the Flat and isn't without a chance but CONSULATE was confidently ridden to win over C&D four weeks ago and is still attractively handicapped, despite the inevitable weight rise - he should go close again.
