Verdict

Sparkling River battled to victory in a lower grade at Warwick but couldn't handle 4lb extra in better class at Cheltenham. Three-times hurdles winner Timeforwest hasn't yet got to grips with fences but KAYFLEUR has had more experience than most of theses over fences and won a little race at Fakenham and should have no problems with the ground. Secret Door was in good form over hurdles last season and will be better for her chasing bow at Ludlow though she was well beaten while Marienstar makes her debut over the bigger obstacles. Grace Tara led for a long way on her chasing debut over 3m at Wetherby and that should have brought her on enough to make her presence felt.
