In depth

Verdict

Burntoakboy gets the confident vote in this begginers chase with Bagan and All Things Equal rating the main dangers. The selection was the best of these over hurdles. Has reportedly schooled well at home and under conditions that suit he is taken to make a winning debut over fences. Bagan rates the main danger on his best form but the suspicion is he may just need the run after a 758 day break. All Things Equal is another that could go well but he showed little after an abscence last time out so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Cantgeton is from a yard in-form and could go well at a price but he was let down by his jumping last time out and with this in mind for the winner we return to Burntoak Boy.
