Verdict
The Horsechestnut was easy back at Chepstow last time and was among the first beaten - he looks to have plenty of weight on his handicap debut. Jaunty Journey is still 15lb higher than for his last win a year ago and he ran a shocker last time at Chepstow. Castle Cheetah and Castle Conflict were pulled up in the same race at Warwick but Cyclop found 2m too short at Sandown and has stronger claims in this. MANBALLANDALL deserves some reward for his consistency, even though he's become frustrating to follow. The handicapper refuses to give him any leeway but he travels well in his races and the drop in trip could finally see him in the winner's enclosure.
