Verdict

RUNAROUND SUE has proven to be a specialist over these longer distances and is put forward to score here as she chases her hat-trick at the main expense of Whats Up Bob and Lawgiver. The selection landed a poor race in good fashion at Market Rasen just two starts ago and followed up in ready fashion off a 6lb higher mark when last seen. The recent addition of a tongue tie has worked the oracle with her and a bold bid for the hat-trick can be expected. Whats Up Bob, whose only win was achieved over this trip over a year ago, has been unpredictable of late but has run well enough in some races to suggest he will be worth keeping an eye on in this company. Marjorie Fife's Lawgiver was hitting some great form before putting in a disappointing effort last time. Past evidence leads us to believe that he can make the frame here. Market referral is advised and needed for clues to the rest. Lodgician is on a mark that he should be able to one day win off but things will be difficult for him today and he will find it difficult to beat our selection, Runaround Sue.
