Verdict

Petrovka is a speculative selection in the nightcap with Floodlight Fantasy and Lindseyfield Lodge likely to have their supporters. Steve Gollings' mare is still a maiden after 23 starts but it could be that the switch back to fast ground might suit and it is also worth noting that she was backed ahead of her most recent start. Floodlight Fantasy won readily off a mark of 66 at Fakenham. This contest is similarly dire. Lindseyfield Lodge won a seller at Hexham and cannot be dismissed with any confidence. Joe Jo Star stayed on in a similar event last time out and has place claims. Kings Majesty doesn't seem to be as good over hurdles as on the flat. Sister Agnes hasn't looked the most straight forward in the past hence her low handicap mark. That said, she took her opportunity well at Stratford, and is quickly turned out under a penalty. Shade Bonny is best of the rest. A race strong in numbers but low in quality and we are with Petrovka.
