Verdict

After a spell in point-to-points, CUT THE CORNER has returned to racing under Rules in good heart and wasn’t hard pressed to beat a decent yardstick here eight days ago – he can defy his penalty. Muwalla won narrowly at Market Rasen last week but also has 7lb extra. Solar Impulse is very hard to win with nowadays while The Yank prefers sharper tracks and has two ways of running. Desertmore View has done most of his winning between the flags.
