Verdict

Western Miller followed up a victory at Stratford with an even more impressive success at Southwell and is back on song. A hat-trick is a possibility but this is quite competitive with veteran Asockastar in good heart. Jockey bookings suggest Sizing Granite is preferred to stablemate Sizing Codelco while Theinval is potentially well treated after a break. The handicapper has also given a chance to Double Treasure but Court Duty will carry 3lb overweight despite having won his last two. TOO MANY DIAMONDS wasn’t disgraced in a pipe-opener over hurdles last month. He’s dropped to a fair mark over fences so gets the vote.
