In depth

Verdict

ROYALE DANCE had the form of his second in a bumper at Stratford in March franked when the winner, who runs later today at Wetherby, landed a novice hurdle at Aintree. Valentine Getaway will almost certainly improve on her fourth at Warwick and Jane Du Berlais showed promise at Cheltenham in April. Magical Maggie won bumpers at Bangor and Southwell last season and Hidden Beauty would probably be a threat to all if back on track and she was very impressive when landing a Ffos Las bumper on debut and will likely have benefited from a break.
