In depth

Verdict

Premier Hope is a speculative selection against likely market leaders, Barney and Levitski. Emma Lavelle's charge has tried front running over further but has not got home. Probably in need of the run following absence, the market is watched in order to see what is anticipated. Barney is likely to be prominent throughout. He has won recent chases and hurdles and couldn't be in betteer form. Levitski isn't always the bravest in a finish. That said, his run at Worcester rated a step up on his Chepstow reappearance. Nesnaas was never sighted at Aintree but had won back to back races at Wincanton beforehand. Meet The Legend is still potentially unexposed and could be anything. Waterspray finds it difficult to win whereas Blandings Castle has to bounce back following a below par effort last time out. Attura Gatti looked useful a couple of seasons ago and has clearly had training problems. Chigorin has a nice racing weight. Premier Hope is our pick.
