In depth

Verdict

A poor seller here but something has to win and the principals look to be Indian Star, Fortune Point and Forzacurity and the narrow vote is given to Indian Star. The selection was a fair fifth in similar grade behind Airedale Lad last time, that horse has since franked the form and in a trappy affair he looks a value bet. Fortune Point rates the main danger on his best form but he is best when allowed to dominate and as he looks sure to be taken on for the lead he is opposed. Forzacurity won well last time when beating Yo Pedro but this looks more competitive. Jordans Lad hails from a yard in form and has the highest BHA rating of these but he may need the run after a 698 day break. Of the remainder, Papillon de Iena has the ability to go close off this mark but does not like to use it and with this in mind for the winner we return to Indian Star to small stakes.
