Verdict

With Franchoek a shadow of his former self IMPORTANT BUSINESS is put forward to hold off Mous Of Men and Kanad. The selection was a decent horse over timber and if translating that ability to fences he could make up into a nice horse. It's a bit worrying that he's still a maiden but in fairness to the horse he has bumped into some decent types along the way. He made a nice introduction to chasing in a field full of ex decent hurdlers. He jumped well that day but got tired late on. That run should leave him spot on and the form looks solid so he should be able to make his experience count. Mous Of Men was another above average type over hurdles and with his stable in such good form he warrants respect. He lacks a run over fences but the yard is sure to have him well schooled. Kanad has plenty of experience over the larger obstacles which should stand to him but he is vulnerable to an improver. Franchoek was classy over hurdles but has disappointed over fences. In my opinion the horse is just too small for chasing.
