    Verdict

Santani has done well in his hurdling career to date and comfortably landed the odds at Stratford earlier this month. But he may not find it easy to give 12lb to the less-exposed VENTURA DRAGON, who was well backed when returning from a break and making his hurdling debut at Perth. He couldn’t quite match the speed of Mister Manduro but will know more today. Iconic Hero will need to improve on a fifth at Bangor but Oskemen was only beaten half-a-length at Market Rasen in April and should be capable of better.
