Verdict

GILZEAN was keen on his reappearance at Market Rasen but still found enough to see off the consistent Snowball and may be capable of defying a 6lb weight rise here as he's handled a heavy surface in the past. Banks Road could be the danger after showing that staying was his game at Plumpton, though old Earcomesthedream is sure to have improved for his comeback fourth at Southwell and Gwladys Street was fourth when dropping into this grade at Hexham last month. Hollins won over fences here a year ago off a much higher mark but more recent efforts have offered little encouragement.
