Verdict

It was testing ground when Gorey Lane won last year’s renewal off a 2lb lower mark. Ultimate Dream opened his account over hurdles with a win at Towcester when beating The Model County but is upped 9lb while though Normandy King won in heavy going at Bangor back in April he remains 14lb higher. Flobury posted a much better effort when second over 2m4f here last time but KELSEY was placed in a higher grade over 3m at Ffos Las on his return from a lay-off and Peter Bowen’s charge may be the one to side with here. Amberjam won at Huntingdon when last at the track but that was back in 2014.
