Verdict

Lydford Lad made a promising debut over fences when runner-up at Ffos Las on his first start for a new yard but WALK IN CLOVER may edge this. The latter had the measure of My Silver Lining when second at Southwell and Dan Skelton’s mare is taken to confirm running and go one better. Doncaster runner-up Immortal Fame drops down in trip but Bak Rocky is preferred off his current mark. Rock Of Star was staying on when falling two out at Chepstow so looks best of the rest.
