Verdict
Jonjo O'Neill won this last year and will be hopeful that TOP SPIN can follow suit. He couldn't quite overhaul Western Way over a shorter trip at Market Rasen last time but this distance will suit him better and he can record a first victory in two years. Shadarpour was just beaten over this distance at Fontwell and is a danger, as is Over The Air who won over 2m4f at Worcester last month. Flat winner Almagest has been placed in maiden and novice company but was beaten 18 lengths on both occasions.
