Verdict
A very difficult race to pinpoint the winner and a tentative TEAMtalk selection is for the in-form How Ran On who won a poor race at Ludlow recently. He is a safe jumper and will be suited by the trip and going. An interesting contender is Guignol Du Cochet who is returning from a two year absence for Lydia Richards. Progressive before injuring himself at Huntingdon two years ago he will go close if reproducing the form that saw him win well at Folkestone earlier that season off his current mark. Best of the rest could be Harcamone who ran decent efforts at Bangor and Chepstow last season mixed with some poor performances. He may however need this outing. French Connection has been running some consistent efforts of late without troubling the judge and he has reasonable place opportunities. Aircon will no doubt be sent out a warm favourite and although he has the best form of those on show this trip looks shorter than ideal and he does normally need a couple of runs to put himself right. He could be a favourite to oppose on the exchanges.
