Verdict
Lake Imperial, Glimmer of Light and Dalriath are three against the field in this competitive handicap chase and the vote is given to Lake Imperial. The selection was a fair fourth behind Dad's Elect last time out, looks sure to be suited by this shorter trip and off what remains a fair mark he will be hard to beat. Glimmer Of Light rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Albarino but he often finds less than expected off the bridle and at likely odds he is taken on. Dalriath is another that could go well on his latest second behind Twist Bookie but that form has since been let down. Jupon Vert has conditions to suit and could go well but he is best when allowed to dominate and as he looks sure to be taken on for the lead he is opposed. Syroco has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price if first time blinkers bring about improvement but for the winner we return to Lake Imperial.
