Verdict
ALLMANKIND is headstrong and last season’s Triumph Hurdle third found little off the bridle when a beaten favourite on his return to action. It’s a surprise to see him over fences so early in his career but the four-year-old gets a handy weight-for-age allowance at this time of year and he’ll probably take some catching if his jumping is up to scratch. Fred is a likely danger as he was progressive over the smaller obstacles last term, though will find today’s going lively enough. Stolen Silver has already had a run over fences and was 11 lengths ahead of Zanza at Newton Abbot – he could challenge the selection for the lead.
