Verdict

Courtandbould didn’t pull up trees back over hurdles last season and the handicapper may have caught up with Guernesey. Super Six found only a decent novice too good on his handicap debut, however, and got back to winning ways at Market Rasen. IRISH HILL (NAP) appeared to enjoy the better ground last time at Chepstow as he was always travelling well – he only has 3lb more to carry here. Saint Riquier has been very highly tried but was only fourth off this mark at Ascot two runs ago and may have to wait a bit longer for a first victory.
